Seaforth is a small dockside community situated in the
south of the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton, and north of the city of Liverpool.
Seaforth takes its name from Seaforth House, the home built by Sir John
Gladstone who, in 1813, was MP for Liverpool. There were around 6000 people
resident in Seaforth according to the 1991 Census of Population.
